MAKE & MINGLE: Make something. Meet someone.

Looking for a different way to spend your Friday? Make & Mingle is a relaxed creative get-together where you can meet new people, catch up with a friend and enjoy making something together. Come solo or bring someone along. No experience needed!

This edition: Paint Your Own Jewelry Box. Choose a natural-wood trinket box and make it your own with paint and colour. Our team will be there for a little guidance, but this is more about enjoying the afternoon and connecting than following a formal class.

What happens during the session?

Settle in, pick your colours and start painting your own wooden trinket box. Chat as you create, take your time and enjoy a laid-back Friday afternoon. The Always Summer team is on hand when you need help, but there is no strict lesson or step-by-step schedule.

What's included in the €28 ticket?

One natural wooden trinket box in your chosen shape
Paints, brushes and decorating supplies
Light guidance from the Always Summer team
Lemonade and light snacks

Which shapes and sizes can I choose?

Choose your box shape when booking:

Heart: approximately 10 cm wide × 4 cm high
Square: 8 × 8 × 4.5 cm
Rectangle: 9 × 5 × 5.5 cm

These are small, reusable natural-wood boxes for jewellery and tiny keepsakes. Measurements are based on supplier information.

Can I take my painted box home that day?

Usually, yes! The paint tends to dry quickly. If yours needs more time, you can leave it at the store and collect it another day.

BEFORE YOU JOIN

Can I come alone? Do I need experience?

Absolutely come solo! Make & Mingle is designed to make meeting people feel easier while you do something creative. Beginners are welcome, and you don't need to bring any materials. Please note that the number of other guests depends on bookings, so we can't guarantee a group every Friday.

Is Make & Mingle the same every Friday?

Friday afternoons are for Make & Mingle at Always Summer, with different creative activities across editions. This listing is for painting a wooden trinket box. Please book an available session in advance.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 7 days before your booked session for a full refund. You may also transfer your place to a friend by letting us know their name.

We need a minimum of 2 participants for a session to go ahead. If the minimum isn't reached, we'll offer you a full refund or an alternative session.

DELIVERY

All items are shipped from the Netherlands

• 2-5 days delivery in NL and BE
• Shipping is via Post NL or DHL.
• All shipping costs will be calculated in the checkout screen.
• Free shipping within the Netherlands on orders above €65.

Once your order is shipped, we will send out a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number.

RETURN POLICY

If you are not happy with your purchase, you may start the return process:

1. Send us an email at alwayssummernetherlands@gmail.com.

2. Please ensure that the packaging is well packed and protected from possible damage.

3. Return fees will be covered by you.

The following circumstances/items that are not possible for returns or exchanges:

• Earrings are not eligible for return due to hygiene purposes.
• Items that have been worn or used.
• You cannot exchange sale items
• Gift Cards
• Your order didn’t arrived due to factors within your control (for example you provided us with the wrong shipping address).
• Your order didn’t arrive due to one or other circumstances outside the control of Always Summer
