After a successful event in June, Anna is back in Always Summer with another edition of her sketching workshop! Join us for a cozy afternoon and learn a new creative skill!

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

If at least once in your life you had a moment when you stopped and thought: “Oh, it would be lovely to sketch this view right now the workshop "Urban sketching: How to sketch a view in 15 minutes" would be a great place to start!

During the workshop participants will learn basic techniques of sketching using a brush pen - unique and universal material, and use them to create urban scenes - from sketching a small window to transferring the view of a Dutch canal into the pages of a sketchbook.

The workshop will be focused on capturing complex elements of the surroundings in a simple manner, creating a quick but beautiful image. Spread across different scales, the class will be a perfect fit for any level and provide a step-by-step guide for creating your own image.

The price of the ticket includes all the materials necessary as well as set of references that will be used during the workshop. After the completion participants will take home not only a set of sketches, but also the brush pen and the sketchbook to continue their artistic journey. 

The workshop suits all levels. I will start from strategies for beginners, but even experienced sketchers might find something interesting during the class - the material, the approach or the technique. Participants can bring with them some photo references if they have a specific scene  they want to sketch in mind, but all references for the class will also be provided.

Upon completion, participants will take home not only a set of sketches but also a brush pen and a sketchbook to continue their artistic journey!

Participants can bring their own photo references if they have a specific scene in mind that they want to sketch.
