Travel to the past and present of India in the workshop and learn about the ancient art of Kolam! Originating in India about 5000 years ago, This is a symmetrical art drawn using dots and lines. 

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

In this workshop, we will start with the history of Kolam, why it is practiced and how to draw them on either a piece of canvas, a tote bag or a coaster. This will be done step by step to create a harmonious design. You will not only create a piece of artwork, but also learn a skill that is useful to start your creative practice at your own time. 

The workshop fee will cover the materials required - paints, brush, markers, a piece of tote bag or canvas or coaster to paint on during the event.
The workshop is completely beginner friendly and will be covered step by step to create a design of size minimum 7cm.
